Set of two installations Two-channel video installation (color, sound)
Duration variable, size variable
In the East Asian family context, birth is often seen as the starting point of
debt. A mother's sacrifices become credits, while a child's growth unfolds as
an eternally unpayable debt. When love is precisely measured, the relationship
evolves into a game of expectations and compensation.
The work presents the synchronous misalignment between me and my mother: we strive to draw near, yet miss each other again and again as if by fate. Each attempt at convergence becomes mutual abrasion. We can never meet each other's expectations, only tug at one another painfully, over and over.

在東亞家庭語境下，出生常被視為債務的起點
母親的犧牲化作債權，孩子的成長則是一場永遠無法償清的債。
當愛被精確計量，關係便了成一場關於期待與補償的博弈。
作品試圖呈現我與母親之間的同步錯位：
母女雙方不斷努力靠近，卻如宿命般一次次錯開。
每一次試圖重合，都化為對彼此的磨損。
我們永遠無法滿足對方的期望，只能在疼痛中反覆拉扯。
