Bio

WU Ho Mui Cathy (b. 2002, Hong Kong) is a mixed-media artist whose practice spans illustration, zine making, printmaking, and installation. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the Academy of Visual Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University in 2026, having also studied on exchange at Kingston University London.

Wu’s work explores meticulous observations of daily life, characterized by intimacy, humor, and ironic expressions. Her archive-based approach led to an artist residency at the Dorich House Museum, and she has contributed to an international research symposium on illustration in Istanbul. Her work has been exhibited internationally, from London’s Stanley Picker Gallery to Hong Kong’s Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC).

Beyond her individual practice, Wu is a passionate advocate for the local art community. In 2025, she founded "Read My Zine!", a self-initiated platform that promotes the work of HKBU AVA artists through curated market showcases and consignment.
